Leadership through Equity and Diversity in Education (LEADE)

CWW's LEADE initiatives focus on the interactions of gender and experience in education and career training and development programs, and how these interactions affect career outcomes and advancement. We are particularly interested in girls and women's experiences studying and working in nontraditional roles and professionals, such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The overarching goal of LEADE is to ensure all learners access and success in high quality education and career programs, with specific emphasis on training and preparation for high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand fields.

As of September 30thCERC will no longer be hosted at Rutgers' Center for Women and Work. You can find many of the resources at: http://www.state.nj.us/education/cte/contact.htm.

LEADE services include:

  • Technical assistance, including data analysis and comprehensive institutional reform for equity
  • Professional Development and Training for educators and administrators in both the formal and informal education sectors
  • Applied research, including program evaluation, and equity outcomes assessments.
